Florida Gun Violence Update

In an update to an incident of Florida gun violence that made national headlines, Bernie McCabe, the state attorney for Pinellas County, announced that he had made the decision to file charges against Michael Drejka almost two weeks after he had received reports from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Drejka, the shooter who had invoked the Stand Your Ground defense, faces up to 30 years in prison if he is convicted.
